MAKING A DIFFERENCE THROUGH CONNECTION
“As a driver, I look forward to chatting with clients. Sometimes, I might be the only social contact some people will have all day.
Every client has their own needs, like one client whom I’ve never actually met – I’ve only heard her voice.
I’m instructed to put her meal in the fridge. I’ll call out when I arrive to let her know I’m there, and she’ll respond.
She’s always appreciative, but sometimes I can tell from her voice that she’s feeling a bit down or things are untidy.
I’ll share my concerns with our Client Services team so they can offer additional support. It’s so important to take that extra step and look out for clients like her.”
