Special Diets & Texture-modified meals

fresh Meals, made your way

Everyone wants to eat well, but often face barriers that hinder one’s access to nutrition. From navigating a new diet change to supporting a long-term health condition, our meals can be adapted to meet your unique needs. Thanks to our commercial kitchen facility, we can meet the nutritional requirements of clients with more complex demands such as special diets or modified food textures without compromising on flavour.

We prepare our meals from scratch while following Canada’s Food Guide to ensure that they’re nutritionally-balanced and naturally low in fat, sugar and salt. Our set monthly menu allows us to accommodate dietary needs or texture-modified foods for those with chewing and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).

Adapting Meals

About 35% of our clients have special diets and require some form of modification to their meal. Fortunately, our kitchen facility is fully-equipped to adapt meals to meet a variety of needs. We aim to break down barriers and improve access to nutritious, prepared meals.

Client Preferences

We’ll do our best to meet our clients’ needs, including certain preferences to omit certain proteins because of personal preference or a religious intolerance.

Unfortunately, we are unable to address all preferences or special diets such as Halal, gluten-free, or vegetarian and vegan. Limited meal options are available in our Frozen Meal program

Allergy Information

We are a nut, shellfish and grapefruit-free facility. Due to the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot accomodate any other reported allergies and intolerances for the following allergies: Eggs, milk, mustard, soy, sesame, sulfites, herbs, and gluten.
